The reaction was quenched with sat. aq. NH4C1 (20 mL), diluted with EtOAc (20 mL) and extracted with EtOAc (3 x 10 mL). The combined organics were washed with brine (2 x 20 mL), dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filtered, and concentrated in vacuo. The resulting residue was purified by silica gel column (100% Hex) to give the desired product l-bromo-3,5- difluoro-2-(2-methylallyl)benzene as a colorless and clear oil (1.60 g). Yield 69%.

NH4C1 (25 mL), diluted with EtOAc (25 mL) and extracted with EtOAc (3 x 30 mL).
