The crystal structure of the charge-transfer complex of pyridine and iodomonochloride was refined by 3-dimensional x-ray methods using 884 observed reflections collected by counter methods. The geometry of the complex, as found in an earlier investigation, was verified; the accuracy in bond-length measurements is improved by a factor of 10 relative to the earlier results.
