To a solution of aryl methoxy substituted aryl iodide (40 mmol) in isopropylamine (250 ml) were added Pd(PPh3)2Cl2 (0.4 mmol) and CuI (0.8 mmol), then trimethylsilylacetylene (44 mmol).
