A solution of 3-CHLORO-4-IODO-ANILINE (5. 6G), ISOAMYLNITRITE (8. 8ML) and ETHYLDISULPHIDE (13. 4ML) in acetonitrile (100ml) was heated at 60C for 24h. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the residue purified by chromatography on silica eluting with 1% ETHYLACETATE/ISOHEXANE.
