In a typical experiment, known quantities of iodobenzene (1.0 mmol), phenylacetylene (1.2 mmol), P(DVB-IL)-Pd (20 mg, Pd 0.5 mol %), Et3N (0.4 mL, 2.4 mmol), and distilled water (5.0 mL) were charged into the reactor.
