General procedure: A mixture of thiol (0.5 mmol), aryl halide (0.6mmol), CuI (5 mol%, 4 mg), DABCO (10 mol%, 5.6 mg) K2CO3(2 equiv, 138 mg) and DME (3 ml) were added to an oven-dried sealed tube equipped with a stirring bar under nitrogen.
