Formula: C6H6IN, 3-Iodoaniline is a useful research compound. Its molecular formula is C6H6IN and its molecular weight is 219.02 g/mol. The purity is usually 95%.

3-Iodoaniline is a fatty acid that is used in analytical methods to measure the concentration of human serum in blood. It can be used to estimate the population growth rate, with a half-life of about 13 hours. 3-Iodoaniline reacts with hydrogen bond and proton to form a reaction solution, which can be catalyzed by palladium-catalyzed coupling and suzuki coupling reactions. The activation energies for these reactions are typically in the range of 4-8 kcal/mol. The chemical ionization technique is a type of mass spectrometry that is used to determine kinetic data for this compound. Hydrochloric acid can be added as an acid catalyst to increase the rate of reaction and generate more accurate kinetic data., 626-01-7.

In everyday life, iodide is most commonly encountered as a component of iodized salt, which many governments mandate. 626-01-7, formula is C6H6IN, Name is 3-Iodoaniline. Worldwide, iodine deficiency affects two billion people and is the leading preventable cause of intellectual disability. Formula: C6H6IN.

Kanwal;Khan, Khalid Mohammed;Chigurupati, Sridevi;Ali, Farman;Younus, Munissa;Aldubayan, Maha;Wadood, Abdul;Khan, Huma;Taha, Muhammad;Perveen, Shahnaz research published 《 Indole-3-acetamides: As Potential Antihyperglycemic and Antioxidant Agents; Synthesis, In Vitro α-Amylase Inhibitory Activity, Structure-Activity Relationship, and In Silico Studies》, the research content is summarized as follows. Indole-3-acetamides I [R = Ph, 4-methylphenyl, 4-fluorophenyl, etc.] were synthesized via coupling of indole-3-acetic acid with various substituted anilines in the presence of coupling reagent 1,1-carbonyldiimidazole. The structures of synthetic mols. were elucidated through different spectroscopic techniques including electron ionization-mass spectroscopy (EI-MS), 1H-, 13C NMR, and high-resolution EI-MS (HREI-MS). These compounds I were screened for their antihyperglycemic and antioxidant potentials. All compounds displayed good to moderate inhibition against α-amylase enzyme with IC50 values ranging between 1.09 ± 0.11 and 2.84 ± 0.1μM compared to the standard acarbose (IC50 = 0.92 ± 0.4μM). Compound I [R = 4-fluorophenyl] (IC50 = 1.09 ± 0.11μM) was the most active compound of the series and exhibited good inhibition against α-amylase; in addition, this compound I [R = 4-fluorophenyl] also exhibited good antioxidant potential with IC50 values of 0.35 ± 0.1 and 0.81 ± 0.25μM in 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl-hydrate (DPPH) and 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assays, resp. The binding interactions of synthetic mols. with the enzyme’s active site were confirmed via in-silico studies. The current study had identified a number of lead mols. as potential antihyperglycemic and antioxidant agents.
