The reaction was stirred for 24 h.The reaction solution was filtered through the residue and distilled under reduced pressure to give a white solid.The yield was 88% and 1- (3,5-dimethoxyphenyl) -2-phenyl-1H-benzimidazole was obtained as a white solid
