General procedure: To a solution of N-t-butyloxycarbonyl-4-iodobenzylamine (440 mg,1.30 mmol) in THF was added CuI (125 mg, 0.70 mmol), Et3N (0.40 ml, 2.60 mmol)and Pd(PPh3)4 (53.0 mg, 0.046 mmol) at room temperature.
