Heat at 70 C for 16 h, concentrate, and purify using silica gel chromatography, eluting with 100 : 0 to 90 : 10 methylene chloride : ethyl acetate, to give the title compound as a pale yellow solid (820 mg, 99%). 1HNMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) 6 3. 89 (s, 3H), 7. 19-7. 26 (m, 1H), 7. 30-7. 31 (m, 1H), 7. 69- 7. 74 (m, 1H), 7. 79-7. 82 (m, 1H), 8. 30 (d, J = 2. 8 Hz, 1H), 8. 38 (d, J = 1. 3 Hz, 1H) ; MS (APCI) : m/z = 296 [M+H] +.
