Reactions were conducted in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the perfluoroethyl iodide was replaced with 1-iodoperfluorooctane (n-C8F17I). The selectivity for the resulting ethylene adduct (adduct of one ethylene molecule) was 99.9% or greater in each case.
