The reaction mixture was concentrated and purified by silica chromatography (0-50% EtOAc in petroleum ether) to give tert-butyl (11S,11aS)-8-((5-iodopentyl)oxy)-7-methoxy-2-methylene-5-oxo-11-((tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy)-2,3,11,11a-tetrahydro-1H-benzo[e]pyrrolo[1,2-a][1,4]diazepine-10(5H)-carboxylate 47 (129 mg, 0.191 mmol, 43.9% yield) as a yellow oil.
