The mixture was quenched and extracted as in Example 1(d). The solvent was distilled off and the crude residue was purified by column chromatography (60-120 silica gel, 50% ethyl acetate in hexane) to give the product in 76% yield (6.8 g). 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6): delta 10.15 (br s, 1H), 9.41 (s, 1H), 8.35 (d, 1H), 7.78 (dd, 1H), 7.66-7.54 (m, 3H), 7.39 (m, 1H), 7.22 (m, 1H), 7.14-7.11 (m, 2H), 2.06 (s, 3H).
