General procedure: A Schlenk tube with a magnetic stir bar was charged with Pd(OAc)2 (10 molpercent, 0.0056 g), AgOTf (1.1 equiv., 0.0707 g), TBAB (20 molpercent, 0.0161g), 2-phenylpyridine N-oxides 1 (0.25 mmol), iodobenzene and its derivatives 2 (0.375 mmol) and H2O (1 mL).
