The residue was dissolved in methanol, filtered, and concentrated in vacuo. Purification by flash chromatography on silica using 0-10% MeOH in DCM gave the title compound as a pale yellow solid (1.60 g, 70%, contaminated with 0.3 moles of Et3NHI).
